Hey Mike, I'm sorry to hear that you are ill. I hope it can get fixed. Your kids need you more then your wife, please always remember that. For her, time is not important anymore, she will be there waiting for you and it will be like minutes not like years, but your kids are there, alive and need a father :) Fight it. Wasn't it you who told me to hang in there? It helped me. I'm still here and kicking and screaming lol. Well not really screaming, wouldnt want to scare the neighbours ;) But I'm here, fighting my diabetes and my overweight. And I know that there are people out there who care for me and think of me. What can I say, time marches on and so you too must make choices. We can all stand here and be your cheerleaders, tell you to hang in there, tell you we love you and we want you to stay, tell you your kids need you and that RoseMyst would be so pissed if you left them without fighting, but these are just words.

In the end, my friend, its 100% up to you. You are the one who is in pain, you know your responsibilities, you know deep down what’s right and what’s wrong. You are the one who has to make your peace with God & Goddess. I don’t think its truly in you to leave your children without a fight, to just roll over and say “Here I am take me,” as much as you would like to. I believe deep down you will do what’s right for you, RoseMyst and the Kids.

I believe in you because RoseMyst believes in you and she says this is just venting that you will do the right thing and she knows you to well to doubt you. She says, You see how the kids have dealt with her death. Not to mention the how much Steph has been confused, hurt and angry since she passed, you know what losing her father so very soon would do to her! She also expresses that she wants you to raise them and not others, you know what others she is talking about, so I will let it go at that

So with all that said my friend, you know where I am. I will listen, I will cry with you, I will laugh with you and lift you up when you have need, I will relate messages from RoseMyst to you as you like and I will hold your hand when you are afraid. I do hope that there is something they can do for you, like others have said your kids need you here with them.
I do hope you can take this time & spend every moment with them, I know you love them, it is obvious from your writings.
I know you miss your wife & I hate you have had to go through the loss of her & now having to go through your own illness.
Take care of yourself, fight this thing if you can. Like Kat said, your wife will be there waiting for you when it is time for you to join her, I just hope for you & your children it is much later than sooner.
